Do we have a soul? Immune system might cause depression

The immune system might affects our braing and cause major depression. How is that possible? Think about it - when you are ill, your wants and needs are affected : you go out less (or not at all), your apetite is gone - some even wish not to talk or see anyone! This is much like depression! A few more facts : 1) Scientists found that in major depression patients the levels of immune system's proteins are high! 2) In suicide victims' post mortem they found the same thing. 3) Healthy people, given immune system boosters, showed a drastic change in mood towards depression! So, do we have a soul? Or are we only biological machines? What do you think about your immune system now? Is it good to make it stronger?
