Hi,
I work for Scour and I can assure you that we are legitimate and will reward you for searching - if you play by the rules. There are blog posts across the net about how long Scour takes to respond to Cash out requests. This is because there are a LOT of invalid requests. With each request we are tasked to investigate the users' activity and most of the users are guilty of excessively invalid activity in an effort to inflate their rewards points.
In the case of the user above: Smytt, all of his searches were Erratic in nature; Many unrelated searches one after another, seconds apart- over 1000 searches in 4 days, hardly the activity of a legitimate searcher.
It makes no sense to run a Rewarding Search engine without the intention of rewarding valid users. Please take a look at our community guidelines for to understand what we will not reward users for.
The bottom line is, Scour is embarking on a mission that no other search engine has successfully done: Rewarding searches with every search. Those users who complain about being banned, were banned for violating our community guidelines, degrading the integrity of a social network.
I encourage anyone to try Scour for themselves. If you are a valid user, you will be rewarded.

I like the Scour idea. You not only get points for searching, also for inviting others and for commenting on search results. Also see http://pietpetoors.com/blog/is-scour-a-scam/

I am wondering about this too... Thank you for starting the discussion! :)
One site said they only deliver Visa card to USA, but I am not sure... On digitalPoint, someone who says is their representative says people can apply internationally & that they will sens a card that will be valid in your country..(?) Could you check the terms & conditions on the site?
It seems to be a pretty new site, so no idea.. (?)
Do tell if you find out anything!! :)

Actually, there's some evidence pointing to it being a scam. I recently got a lot of referrals for Scour from friends, so I decided to check it out. On its blog, however, its most recent entry was filled with comments about how it had banned users for no reason and refused to pay. These users had not used illegitimate methods while searching, yet they were still banned.
Check out the entry here: http://blog.scour.com/2008/07/29/week-3-answering-more-of-your-questions/#comments
I'm also skeptical. Visa cards should deliver internationally, but if they don't deliver, I wouldn't trust them.
