if there is a rainforest restaurant in your area and you've not been there before, i highly recommend it. it is like going into the jungle. they have greenery around with simulated thunderstorms at times. there are mechanical animals that every so often move and make noise. when you enter there is an aquarium that is an entrance way. it is like a mini vacation. the food is different too and good.

Have a romantic dinner out with only both of you. Watch movie and have fun!!!!. What place your husband love to go? Take him there as a surprise birthday gift. I'm sure he will love that. Good luck...

Happy birthday ! My suggestions may be find him a DIY item to piece together, or build a small things, or send him a blank notebook asking him to write down his feelings today, sign your name, and from this year on, repeat doing so to see how you spend your birthdays each year. many years later, this notebook will turn out to be a golden memory. Don't forget to make a seal, or maybe have a collect-30 game 30 years later to recall all those years you 've been through together.

First of all my greetings and regards to your husband! I think you can make this day very special to him get him some nice gift what ever you think he likes prepare the dishes which he likes most, invite your relatives and close friends and celebrate the party.. During night you both can go to nice restaurant and have a candle night dinner, you also can memorise your old days and watch some pictures of yours.... Have a nice day!

Do something that shows, really shows, you care.
Like coffee in bed in the morning together with a little extra love.
Or a backrub when you know he's truly tired.
Some little thing you know he likes and will be gratefull for.
When you do it wish him Happy Birthday.
If he's pleased or tickled pink, then you've succeeded.

I surprised my husband for his birthday a couple of years ago with two nights in the city. I organised baby sitting, and arranged to meet him after work and picked him up. I had already packed our bags and booked a fancy restaurant. He had absolutely no idea! We had a beautiful weekend - it was really worth it.

if you want, you can make some preparations at home, ask some friends to help you, or maybe relatives, to make it more romantic, use petals or roses, scented candles, and a nice bath tub.. hope i'd help

What about an intimate one? hehehhe... After that, you ask him where does he want to go. Then you could spend a simple day together :)
