My USB stick doesnt work anymore :(

I don't know what is wrong but both my PC and laptop says the stick isn't recognized. Earlier, the light on it used to blink but when I insert it now, the light remains steady. Is the device short circuited or something? Do they repair such stuff?

Before I would eliminate the USB Stick I would plug something else into the USB port or goto another computer to check the USB stick. If the stick is bad there is no repairing it, they are cheep and I just saw a 4 gig stick for under 20 dollars. so the are becomming dirt cheep.

You could also try some machine to see if your usb stick is working.If not you could send it to the company for repair.

Hello, try this 1.restart your computer and then resign your stick 2.delete the USB driver and reinstall it try to scan your computer for viruses (optional)

if both machines dont recognise it, something is wrong with the stick. they do repair such things so you shouldn't have any worries :)
