guyss help..classmate how can I not be awkward when he's around?

ok so i think I like this person already..before we were quite close but since the time when he showed signs he like me, i quit joking to him, i even do not talk to him or say hi anymore. I seldom text back to his group message in text. the atmosphere is very awkward whenever he is there and I sense that he feels the same way too..what do I do to make it not awkward..there are times though that I tried to joke at him the same way before but then he responds differently and its awkward already for me..i can't really get away with it..i'm stuck as his classmate..how can I not be awkward when he's around?

hi dear i dont really see the problem if you both have that feeling that you like each other..then it is just a question of breaking the ice..maybe if you do not want to take the first step then you can try being sweet to him give him some extra attention and i am sure things will work well for the two of you..Good Luck

but I don't like to like him more than what is required as a classmate. I want to just be calm and fun still..like being friends with him still and not be awkward when he is around.

sorry u wrote you like him so i misunderstood..anyway then best would be to avoid him and maybe if he tells you anything be polite and kind and explain to him that you do not love him...my favorite line to keep boys away was i dont think of you that way and by saying so you might spoil the friendship we share..this does work try it out if he proposes and also be normal..take care

Well it sure will be awkward. Don't try to avoid him, it might hurt his feelings. Instead, try being normal as though nothing has happened. You may end up befriending him.

JUst pretend that nothing has happen and everything is fine.. U have your freedom to things the way u want and u also dun wanna hurt him and make him feel that he still has got a chance.. SO it's best that u treat him as a normal fren, just treat him like b4, and soon he will revert back to his oldself if he really meant it good foru ^_^
