I was a payroll administrator my next to last job. I worked there for 3 1/2 years and had to leave because of the stress.
I understood perfectly when someones check was not correct, most of the time it was their misunderstanding of reading their check.
My first question to you would be when does your payroll week cut off. Was that Saturday worked part of the pay period you were being paid.
When I did payroll we got paid bi weekly, cut off day was on a Friday. Many times people would work the Saturday after the cut off and expect that to be in their check. Not realizing that it would be paid in the next check.
Please approach in a calm manner. Yelling, blaming will only make you have to wait longer for your money if in fact you are due it now.
I got yelled at and blamed for so many things that turned out to be the employees mistake. It became very stressful.
The money is yours, you will get it, be patient.

ok. Yes it is there fault. we get paid every week Sat. is time and a half sunday is double time. yes sat. is in the pay period alway's has been. I really like the woman that hands in the payrole. The thing that got me was they wouldn't even come to me and say I'm sorry I know you was here because I asked you to work. And I'm checking into it. you know like I'm a person instead of trash. Now if She had been there. I would of got do you need me to write you a check I'm so sorry. I' checking to see what happened. But not them men. They made me feel like trash just asking and then when I got mad it was oh it will be OK. Go back to work. over $120.00 not in paycheck and not even a I'm sorry. They all new I was there. But thank you. For letting me vent.

That's too bad that you did not get your money. When I worked in payroll if it was my fault, I made sure I took care of it right away. You said that the Payroll person was not in. Then, she has a boss, that should have been the person to take care of it for you.
Everyone needs their money, you are not working for nothing. I hope Monday everything gets straightened out for you.
Be Blessed

Yes I got paid this friday. She said she was sorry. I told her if it was her or my one other boss that made the mistake I was OK with that but the one guy. We dislike and don't trust him. There is just something not there. We all get the same slime feeling about him.

I am sorry that your most recent paycheck did not reflect the over time that you worked on Saturday. Did they assure you that the amount would be on your next check? Ask them what you need to do the next time that you work on a Saturday to ensure that the over time earnings are reflected on that paycheck.
I know that it is difficult nowadays and everyone needs their money. If you need that money that much then I would ask if they could cut you a separate check for the over time since it was an error on their part. But whatever you do, don't scream at them.
I hope everything works out for you.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!
