Have u ever wanted to log to your e-mail but unfortunatly ur computer was not working,or u was in bus,or u havnt enough time to use ur pc. I luv to b always online, but i wasnt able to do that without mobile wap,or mobile internet access. I joined wap since 8 months, since which i cant let my phone go away from my eyes, once u use wap u cant imagine being dissconnected from the world. But i have question, what u think about wap versions of big sites, like google & yahoo, does it supply u with options u need or they still need much time to make their wapsites good as websites?

I had used Internet almost through out the day form more then three months. The experience for good. Not that good thou. But according to the available handsets and technology it was a moderate experience.

Hello there! Wap phones are cool but they can also inslave you. I had a wap phone before. At first I thought it was cool that I can just take out my phone on the bus and surf, check my emails etc. Before I know it, I was a slave to my phone! I activated the e-mail thingie on the phone and it keeps on going off every few minutes! To make the long story short, I got rid of the phone and went back to my laptop. Now life is a bit simplier.

I do not have to worry about wap man. I got an iPod Touch and it has a big screen which shows the sites in a proper way. And I have seen that WiFI connectivity in India is getting better, so it shouldn't be hard to go online anytime and check mails. So I do not have to worry about mobile versions of sites, they all are same to me. bourne

good day.. In my country I use 3g and HSDPA connection using my mobile phone connected to my laptop. I can gain internet access with broadband speed and it's relatively cheap. Best of all it's prepaid and charge per hour only. No minimum payment no monthly subscription.

A good while ago my daughter gave me a Motorola razr mobile/cell phone, and this has internet access,it is fun to log on to the internet using it,but lol it takes me a very long time, because I dont do it very often!but I have been able to place a bid on Ebay and go to the Amazon website too, which has been very useful for me.Hubby likes me to go to the internet via cell phone to get the football scores if we are out and about,he is an avid Manchester united fan.But I do need a download..apparently a Java download to get the full benefit, but each time I have asked Vodafone to send me one by text message, they have, then I download it and sadly my cell phone wont accept it,but maybe one day I will figure it all out properly.

I think wap is good and fast enough but I don't use it because I have to pay when I use it , my phone has a wifi and support browsing on the net , so I use it more often that WAP. Wifi is free here so it's good to have a mobile phone that supports net and wifi.

I am a net worm and i addict to it all the day. it is enough that i sit before a computer. So i don't prepare to access net by cellpone. Some time i touch the button incautiously and the net screen appears, then i turn it off. If some day i can't use my PC, i will use this function of my cellphone.

I also use wap, but for the simplified interface of the wap site. I always read news and weather forcast with the phone. In order to reduce the data flow. I don't open multimedia with wap.

Welcome to Mylot,Hasaballah! Wap functionality depends on the phone as to how good it is for You..I'd like to know which phone delivers the best..it IS very useful when you're on the move..I'd like to use it for Email, and be able to book tickets..the Version I have will show Me my local cinema's website, but won't show me their listings as they're using Flash content, which my phone doesn't support! I do Use Yahoo, being the default search engine with the Opera Browser on my phone..it gives good results,I think! Mobile internet will improve as time goes on and technology gets better..for now,I'm happy I'm not cut off from the web while away from my computer!

I have blackberry & I have to pay $20 a month to have unlimited internet access through my cell. phone & have access to my emails... I really don't use that much of internet except for few things... But I'm on it enough to make it worth pay $20 for me... I do some of my banking, checking weather if I have to travel for work, avaliabilities or confirm hotel rooms, directions... For the things I do, my cell. phone's internet works great...
