I was born in 1979 and i love all kinds of music. Sometimes i can hang out with my friends and they look at me funny when i sing songs that are out of our age range. i love oldies, country, rock, classic rock, rap, hip hop and lots more. i think classical makes me a lil tired because its steady but i in general love all music.
what is your fav type of music?

Well I was born way before you and like all kinds of music. My favorite is alternative/rock. I even listen to the music my son listens too and like some of it. My music library has mostly alternative/rock but I have country, folk, swing, some jazz, latino, and classic mexican songs. I always keep up with the music and really liking most of the music that is current. I cannot imagine life without music, I would rather live without the television. I grew up with music in my home. My parents were big music lovers but of a different era. They listened to mexican, country, and easy listening. They were pre-rock and roll. I still listen occassionally to the music they listened to as they are not with us any longer and it reminds me of them. I have quite a collection of 60's, 70's and especially the 80's.

The funny thing about music is that, if you don't listen for awhile, you have no idea who's who anymore. I listened to rock and roll for years, then switched to country for a long time and now I don't recognize any of the bands I hear on the rock stations. I listen to rock once in awhile but, as you know, I keep the radio in my truck tuned to the AM talk stations because the last song I hear before getting out gets stuck in my head for hours!

I love different kinds of music - oldies, alternative, classic rock, pop, disco, new wave, etc. But my favorite is rock. I was hit by it at such a young age and never looked back. I guess my brother is partly to blame since he bought me my first record. LOL
The only music I really don't like is classical, country, and hip hop. I can tolerate some rap but only if it's old school, like Run DMC, Salt N Pepa, or LL Cool J. Basically, stuff from the 80's or early 90's, before it really went hard core.

I listen to all kinds of music. I particularly like Rock, but I do listen to oldies, pop and country as well.
I listen to a lot of oldies, but so do the people I hang out with, so I don't get strange looks for knowing old songs. I was born in 1983.
I justl isten to whatever I like. I don't get hung up on what genre it is. If it's good, it's good. If it's not, it's not.

I really like all kinds of music, but if you ask me what I listen to the most it would be pop or country.

The first music I ever listened to was a tape my parents gave me, containing a beatlfr album and some disco music. In the eighties I listened to whatevery was in the charts until in '88 I discovered Heavy Metal (Speed, Thrash, Doom and Black Metal). A year later I found out about Punk & Goth and around the same time Acid House, soon to be followed by Trance and Techno. For me the nineties were heavily influenced by Ambient and Experimental music. Discovering Deep / Soundscape Ambient in 2003 was a revelation, as was my discovery of Noise this year. At the moment I am listening to Siouxsie a lot, as well as Electro and psychedelic 60s music. Generally I prefer unusual music to anything mainstream, but not always. I can even listen to cheesy New Age stuff or RnB if I'm in the right mood for it! :)
