Just about everytime I have gone to a movie in the theatre, I get stuck sitting next to someone who annoys the crap outa me!! Last time I was at the theatre there was a guy sitting next to me who was making so much noise with his chip bag! He would slowly put his hand in and take it out while chewing with his mouth open and the bag was making to much noise that I wanted to rip it out of his hand and throw it down the aisle, LOL. But because I have some self control I just sat there annoyed, like usual. Share your annoying theatre stories with me! :-)

My complaints recently are just the usual. Last Saturday my mom and I went to see Mamma Mia! and this lady brought her young daughter with her. She had to be three or four. I don't mind if you bring your kids but when they're running around or yelling, then that becomes a problem. And this girl falls under the category of being a loud mouth. Her mom would whisper to her but never told her daughter she should do the same. Eventually she did quiet down. I imagine the mom got finally got in under control after a lot of dirty looks! LOL A new complaint recently is people pulling out their cellphones to read or send texts. I guess it's a huge problem because now before the movie, not only do they ask you to silence your phone, they ask you not to text as well because of the light coming off the phone. We went to a movie earlier this year and had someone in front of us who was more interested in the phone than the movie. I completely understand how you feel just sitting there and not doing anything. LOL...I know there have been times when I've just wanted to tell someone off but I've been good!

Thanks for sharing! I know what you mean with the text msgs! I also was sitting above a guy recently who must have sent text msgs 5-6 times in a row, everytime he opened his phone this bright light would be so distracting, so inconsiderate!! It's like if you want to do that, just leave the movie and come back when you are done. :)

Me and my husband went to the movies to see hellboy 2- well the guy next to us kept talking to his girlfriend about everything that was going on in the screen. "did you hear what he just said? did you see that? that was funny? etc....my husband was getting pissed so the guys girlfriend got up to go to the bathroom and we thought "thank you" at least for a few minutes, but nope the guy sat by himself talking to himself about the movie. We just left him alone. He was weird. We didn't know if he had a mental problem so we just left him alone. Now that we think about it, its funny. But then it was so aggravating. I was so happy with the fight scenes because the loudness of the theatre drowned that guys voice out.

That is rather funny when you look back on it, I would have been like you at the time it was happening though. I might have been worse actually.. muttering things under my breath like, "shut up buddy". lol

Oh, you're a better person than I am. I would have!!! The last time I was at a movie theater tere was a group of teenagers about three rows back that would not shut up. It's a good thing they were further back, out of arms reach for me, or I would hae grabbed them by their collars and tossed them somewhere.

I absoultly love kids but I can not and refuse to sit anywhere near them in a movie theatre lol. They can become very anoyying and it never fails! Especially when they are behind you constantly kicking your seat the whole time! Errr.
