Any hobby takes time away, its a matter of the person.
In the case of computer games like World of Warcraft, a virtual reality role-playing game, some people do get caught up into it.
The US doesnt have it as bad as the asian countries like China, whose government has limited all players under a certain age to play only a set number of hours...they have regulated some sort of software that can track the number of hours being played.
Recently, a new patch was introduced to be uploaded into World of Warcraft where it actually shows the current time in the player's time zone, so he/she can see what time it is.
I am a player of World of Warcraft, however I also have a life in the real world which inlcudes family, friends, dating, and a job....guess some people hate real-life, have no social life, and have a need to escape and stay in the fictional world.
