Below you will see part of my family room. A bedroom door is on the floor and tons of other things from a bedroom which had water damage. The photo only shows a small portion of what is actually in that room. We have a small bathroom downstairs and the toilet and vanity are in the backyard so the guys can lay flooring in the bathroom which also had water damage. The treadmill is in 3 pieces in our living room upstairs. Now you know where I'll be when they complete the project. I'll be putting things back in order probably not only for days but weeks. This will take me away from myLot. I've waited 7 months to get this repaired. It's a long, boring story so will skip that part. Does this sort of mess disrupt your lifestyle until it's back in order?

I remember when we were having our family room remodeled or living rooms and other rooms of the house looked far worse then this. But then our house is cluttered most the time anyway. It only took a month to have the family room remodeled but it took the contractor four months to do the attached bathroom. So were were in a state of limbo that whole time.

I know the feeling. It's hard to work around a room that is being remodeled. The photo of our family room only shows a small section of the mess. Part of it has been moved to the other room when my back allows me to lift and carry. It's finished now and I am so happy to have it done. Thanks for responding.

Ouch! What a mess! I can see why it would disrupt your life. It certainly would disrupt mine. I don't think I could get anything done with the house in such disarray. But then again, I'm sure you'll find a way. Good luck, hang in there and all that good stuff. Try to have an nice weekend, carolbee.

If I knew that I was getting something done to my house.I would deal with it.Wouldn't disrupt me a bit.Plus as you put stuff back there might be some things you want to get rid of.
On another note. That almost looks like my sons room. Now that bothers me.

Nope, our son-in-law is not doing the work. He was just too busy. I waited 7 months and then called someone I knew to do the project. I just couldn't wait any longer. Have a friend of our daughter's best friend and this guy is great. Very trustworthy so I can leave the house. In fact, I gave him a house key. I worked yesterday and he was here all by his lonesome. He does an excellent job. Thanks for responding.

It would bother me if my room or living room were such a mess. I would stay up as long as possible to get it all put back to where it needs to be. I am in the process of cleaning out my bedroom, getting rid of clothes and things I don't need. It drives me nuts that my room is such a mess, but know I need to do this.

We had so much water damage that everything needed to be replaced. I didn't know the washer was leaking and backing up into a spare bedroom behind the drain. I know what you mean about getting rid of clothes and other items not needed. Thanks for responding.
