You have a job that althought its not the dream type of job but still, you enjoy doing and gives you decent income which helps you with your day-to-day survival. But there has been a recent and sudden major blow in your workplace that now made your job become unbearable...to the point that you're now dreading each and every minute you spend in that place. You tried to look for another job but unable to find something that will be much better with what you have now. What will you do? Will you stay and just try to cope with all the BS or tender your resignation asap?

pink, Well first of all I am very sorry for what you are going through on your job, there is nothing worse than dreading going to work each and every day.Jobs are very hard to find, and with the economy the way it is we all do need a income. But if the job is causing you so much stress that it is affecting your health and your relationships, then sometimes we must think about ourselves and quit the job. As they say, when one door closes another will open. I do not know what line of work that you are in, if it will be easy to get another, but can you not draw unemployment for awhile!!Good luck to you.

I don't think I'll be able to get unemployment benefits because my boyfriend/partner is also on a full-time job. Unfortunately, being in sales, his income is not as regular like mine and can be very unpredictable. And I don't think we will be able to survive with his income alone, especially we got mortgage too. Even with my income, we're still struggling...thanks to the never-ending interest rate increases and now, even petrol prices. I'm doing bookkeeping by the way, and some have advised me to actually start my own bookkeeping business. But I don't know where to start, how to build up a clientele, when I don't know that many business owners whom I can offer directly my service. I really feel I'm stuck...

Well I really am sorry for you, it is no fun being stuck, I know what you mean about the bills neading to be paid. but your unemployment has nothing to do with your boyfriends being employed.Good luck though. Thanks for best response.
