If You Could Go Back In Time And Repeat Any Year Of Your Life......

....which year would it be? AND If you could take something with you from the present that you did't have in that past year you chose, what would you take? This week has been totally $hitty, and I'll be happy happy happy to see it go. I head a song on the radio tonight that reminded me of what a great year 2001 was for me. I want to go back to 2001. -AM 740 made it's debut -My maternal grandparents were still alive and healthy -I still lived in my childhood home -A friend of mine gave me cases and cases of old 78 RPM records for my collection -My last real MERRY Christmas before Christmas depression got a hold of me -I turned 19 and my best friend bought me my first beer The precious thing I'd want to take back in time wih me to 2001 would be my wonderful husband who I didn't meet until 2004.

2001 was an eventful year for me as well. I turned 21 (which is legal drinking age here), finally moved out of mom's place and in with my boyfriend who became my husband in 2003. I only had 1 child at the time instead of the 5 I have now... which can be a good or bad thing, depends on the day Honestly though, I don't believe I've had my best year yet. My childhood was rough, and got worse into my teens. Leaving home was great, but my twins were born in 2002 and life got quite stressful from there. Since then I've been a stressed out, overworked stay at home mom who's husband works around the clock which means I never get a single day off! My best year will come after all my kids are in full day school and I finally have some time to kick back, relax, and enjoy life. Hopefully by then our finances will be better as well so I have some money to go out and enjoy myself.

I want to go back to 2003. On positive, it is not a great year for me, but a worst one. In that year, I wasted most of my time. I didn't study hard for my examination. I only got a very low mark so that i only can enter a bad college. That made my parents disappointed. They have expected me to do a excellent performance but i didn't. If i could, i would like to go back to that year. I would study hard to make my goal.

In January of 2001 I finally got my insurance settlement after a five year battle for disability. I had to settle for a lump sum payment. From there we bought a brand new mini van, a washer and dryer, had sliding doors put into our family room, and took the kids to DisneyWorld for a week. It was one of the better years we had since having my second daughter in 1997. We had been struggling financially before, and once that money ran out (and the money I so smartly invested) we were struggling again... until last month when my mother gave me an advance inheritance. We should be good for awhile now.

1958. I was twelve at the time. I blew a 6-foot hole in my neighbor's backyard with homemade explosives (the same stuff used in the Oklahoma City bombing). Unfortunately, my next door neighbor was a deputy sheriff. No sense of humor. We were only trying to dig a fort in harpan adobe.

Id go back to the time when I was going to buy a pepsi but was short a dollar. The guy who bought the same pepsi I was going to get actually won a $100 000 prize. So yah, if I had remembered that one dollar id be $100 000 dollars richer.

I'd like to go back to 1976 or 1977, maybe Sept 76 to Aug 77. The only thing I would take with me would be more money! Things were tight, but I was so happy that year.

This is too difficult for someone with as many years behind them as I have.......I am not a "youngster" as YOU are, so I can't think of a particular year that I would like to repeat. I can think of things that I would like to do over and do differently, but I'm sure that we all can. The sad thing is that things in my present wouldn't be the same, so I'm not sure that the changes would be worth it. I wouldn't have wanted to meet my first husband, but I have 4 wonderful children and 8 beautiful grandchildren that wouldn't be here if I hadn't. It wouldn't be a fair trade! So I guess things were meant to be the way they happened.

I can't think of a certain year that I would like to repeat but I sure would like to turn the clock back about 30 years and know what I know now. Maybe even more than 30 years. I am 51 years old now and I would like to be 16 again. I wouldn't have quit school if I knew what I know now. I would like to do things differently if I could. Like I said, I would have stayed in school and gone on to university and taken up a professional career. I wouldn't have had a baby when I was 17 years old. I love my son but I wasn't a very good or smart mother as I was still a child myself.

I would want to go to 1993 the final year of high school. I loved my last year in school. Getting pictures and prom and all the other stuff that everyone does in high school. I would just want to know what I know today so I wouldn't repeat my mistakes ! Maybe some day they will have time machines

I want to bring back the time when i was still single.The times when i ahnged out with my friends which i didn't do anymore.It was the times when i didn't have much responsibilities and my only concern was my own happiness.Though i never regret i have my own family now but sometimes i miss those days and i know it will never come back again.The precious thing that i want to take back are my parents who are resting in peace now.

I would go back to 1982. For me that was when my childhood really turn for the worse. I would go back and plead for change. That is if I knew then what I know now. Even still back then no one really listened to children, so it might be a bust.

without trying to be wise... "yesterday is history, tomorrow is mystery, today is a gift, that's why we called it the present" Do what you can do best today because yesterday is never meant to be repeated. {though sometimes i still wanna turn back time LOL}

I can't remember if I responded to this yesterday or not. I am thinking that I tried and then my computer messed up and I got pissed and didn't finish, so here I am again. I decided that I am too old to come up with one year that I could remember that I would go back to repeat but if I thought about it I probably wouldn't be with my first husband since that entire time of my life, except maybe the very beginning, and not even then completely, was horrible. BUT...........then I would not have my 4 wonderful children and 9 beautiful grandchildren today, and I would have to say that it makes it all worthwhile for what I have today. And the fool that he is has shared next to no time with his grandchildren and locked his own children out of his life as well many years ago. I see it as his loss.

If I could go back in time I would go back to the year 2005. My senior year in high school. I wouldn't take anything with me just me. I want to go back to that year because I would make a lot of changes in my life and maybe my life wouldn't be like it is now.
