How would you like your eggs done? Sunny-side up? Scrambled? Boiled?

Eggs are delightful - Eggs are delightful! Children love it and adults as well! It seems that no breakfast table would be complete without eggs in it. Do you feel the same way?

Egg seems to me is one favorite food during breakfast or even not. Well my personal choice are native eggs and I want them sunny-side up. My twins love hard-boiled egg whether they are of chicken's or quails, they will surely grab and eat. Well actually there are a hundred ways to cook eggs and all are satisfying depending on your taste like sunny-side up,scrambled, poached, boiled, omelet...? How about you how would you like your eggs done and why?

Quail eggs taste just like chicken eggs but kids love them because they are very small and they can easily handle.

We have same thing in common! I want my yolks well done as well. It's my late father who loved runny yolks and he would love dipping his pandesal in them while sipping his favorite brewed coffee.

Hi,my dear friend. I like boiled eggs the most. Because when I was a child, my family was very poor. In that time,my parents cooked a boiled egg for me everyday. They thought eggs were very nutritious since we could not afford the meat. Then I really thought boiled eggs were the most delicious eggs in the world. Until now, whenever I see eggs, I have a special feeling that I come back to the hard times. For me, the boiled eggs now have the sweet taste. If you ever go through a hard time, and finally have your happy ending, now you can surely understand this kind of feeling.

eggs - country eggs
There are so many way to cook an egg that it's not funny. But I do have to say that I have not eaten a poached egg before. I have had it scrambled, fried, boiled and a omelet. But the sunny-side up runny eggs, I don't like at all. I could never get into eating a runny egg. It has to be cooked all the way. Now I can worked with scrambled from time to time. But I do like the omelet the most of all when you have the right things to add to it. Onions, peppers, sausage chunks, and seasoning. The there are days when I like boiled eggs. I guess I can say that it depends on how I feel when i get up; if I will cook and egg or not.

Yes same here runny egg yolks do not suit my taste buds as well. So I make sure it's well done before lifting from the pan otherwise I would return it there even when I have already started eating.

I like sunny side up sprinkled with salt. I don't over cook the yolk but I want the sides brown and crisp. It's good to eat that with rice or as a bun filling.

Well it seems hard to make sides brown and crisp without ever cooking the yolk. You must have some secret in doing it. Yes, it's good with rice or bun filling or even with veggies only like cucumber, tomatoes and onions

It can be done, indeed. Just preheat a small amount of cooking oil on a frying pan. Then carefully put the egg. As soon as it drops on the pan, get a pinch of salt and sprinkle it evenly on the egg. If the oil is in it's desired temperature, it quickly turns the sides brown and crisp. Then all, you have to do is use the kitchen turner (siyanse)to drive the oil briskly and repeatedly to the top. This would let the extremely hot cooking oil cook the top of the yolk, making it white, instead of yellow but not to the point of cooking the entire yolk. As the top turns white and the sides brown, the egg is ready.

There may be hundreds of ways to prepare eggs, but the only way I'll eat eggs is scrambled! I don't like hard boiled, soft boiled, poached, fried, egg salad - none of them. I can't stand the whites and don't like the yolk alone. I like the texture and the flavor of scrambled eggs. Although I like Eggs Benedict, I have to have them made with scrambled instead of poached. My kids love fried eggs and my mother loves all eggs as did my father. But, I alone stand out as the solitary scrambled-only lover.

Well at least it is still egg but scrambled specially for you only! You are neutralizing the taste by scrambling them together. So it means the white and the yolk are better tasting when mixed. Well I learned something from you. Thanks!

I like my eggs boiled, sunny side up or raw eggs carry salmonellosis risk.Hard boiled, scrambled or poached do not. It's very good to hear that your twins love hard-boiled,hard boiling does not destroy the protein content of an egg.cheers..

There are many ways that I enjoy eggs, they can be scrambled, boiled, poached, coddled,a souffle,an omelette, eggs are very verstatile ,plus they are nutricious .I would like nothing better than to be able to buy free range eggs all of the time, but here in the UK they are very expensive,so we have sadly to buy caged hens eggs

I like eggs almost any way but I like scrambled eggs with cheese and ham the most. Or making a egg english muffin sandwich with a slice of american cheese. I like adding lots of salt and pepper in with my scrambled eggs. My second favorite way are sunny side up but I have to have my sunny side up eggs with hashbrowns or toast. Eggs have always been one of my favorite foods and I eat them for breakfast frequently. I like that they are full of protein in the morning so I can fuel up for my day.

When I was younger I used to eat sunny side up because that was the only way I could cook them I would cook in alot of oil so I could splash it over the egg to get it cooked on the top. But now that I am older I do it over easy since I have learned how to flip the eggs without breaking them. Sometimes I cook them in oil still just with a little just to grease the bottom of the pan so they want stick but that now days hurts my stomach and gives me indegestain because I have acid relfux.Sometimes I use cooking spray so they wont stick and my mom told me to use butter one day for hers and I like it but I have never been a big fan of butter and it is just different to me because I have only done it that way once.

To flip without breaking the yolk when frying the eggs you take the spatula and slide it right under where the yolk is and flip it over into the pan slowly and gently. It might take a while to learn to do it without breaking the yolks because it took me a few tries but it is really easy to do.

I like eggs in many ways as long as they are not overcooked .For me, the important thing is really the method of preparation , but that the eggs should not be overcooked. if eggs are scrambled then they should be done in french style cooked over an low heat ,which takes around 15 min if done properly and leads to an egg which are closer to set than cooked.this produces a moist, scramble eggs which isn't all that rubbery feeling and moreover it taste divine.. If they are fried then only one side of the egg should be cooked and tht too long enough for the white part of the egg to just about solidify .the yolk should remain runny.... same way boiled eggs need only a very short time of cookingalthough i have to admit tht i have weakness for hard boiled eggs but if they are meant to be soft boiled then they should be soft ... :)

I like eggs, anyway you cook it. I remember a story my wife told me about their helper who asked the day before how the children would like their eggs for breakfast the following day and everyone volunteered their favorite ways of having eggs cooked. The maid took down their orders and everyone was dismayed the following day when every single one of the eggs was hard boiled. Cheers!!

I love my eggs sunny side up and half boiled eggs! For sunny side up eggs, not many people knows how to cook this properly and often we end up with a overcooked egg with a egg yolk that is crumbly. But of course, if you eat those cooked by those who knows how to make it properly, this version of egg is actually quite lovely! Imagine a slightly charred egg white, with egg yolk that can still quiver in their coat. That is the best sunnyside up eggs that I had eaten! As for half boiled eggs, it is simply a Chinese version of cooking eggs. Instead of the eggs being hard boiled, it is in liquid form whereby the whites and yolk of the egg is only half cooked. You mix the half cooked egg with pepper and light soy sauce and there you go! It's simply delicious! It's ate with just drinking it up like you would do for water!

Right you are! That is the best sunny side up egg indeed. I can make one like that but the egg must really be fresh! But the Chinese version is new to me and I'm glad I learn it from you! Thanks a lot!
