How long did it take u to learn drive?

I'm not able to drive now,and i'm planning to learn it next year.
Drive a car on road is a very enjoyful thing,and i wish that someday i can drive my car and breath the fresh air and wind from my car window.^^
Is it very hard to learn?How long did it take you to learn?

Driving is not a rocket science that could take you years to learn. Its something that humans adaptation to learn new things decides. I took only one week to learn driving a two wheeler, and almost 2 weeks to drive my car.
I do not mean to offend you in any way. But if you really like and wish to learn driving its really very easy and fun.

Hi I'm 45 now and passed just after my eighteenth birthday and as we can't get a license here in UK until 17 (or couldn't then) it must have been under a year but I really cannot remember how long. I had paid for lessons and passed second time. I knew how to drive its just the fine tuning and knowing the Highway Code that was needed to know. Only real way to find out is go have a lesson. Hi 5!! I have not yet learn driving too. I am too scared to learn. 
I am hoping to overcome my fear soon to learn driving.
Most of my friends get their driving license in their 2nd test attempt (yea, they failed the first one). This means that they take around 6 months to get their license. Some of my friends get theirs in the first attempt and that will only take 3 months. A rare few take Many attempts and they take a long long time to get their license.

Oh,I know it is very hard to get driving licence,but i don't know it can be so difficult.My sister can drive now,but she haven't got her driving license yet as she is having a baby now.And i may learn with her together for our license next year.
And i hope you can overcome your fear and learn it soon.Just be careful.^^

I don't know. i never tired it. Because i don't have any car or other four weeler vehicle at home. I have no idea about this topic.

in my childhood i took 2 or 3 months to learn cycling...it was so painful,because i fell more than 50 times while practicing..
but i just took 15 minutes to learn two-wheeler driving!!! then,still now i dont know to drive four-wheelers..im planning to learn it next month...i dont know how long will it take...
