If you went to college and are now working, does your work have anything to do with what you studied? Do you hope to get a job "in your field"?

It has a little to do with what I am now doing, but I could see that another degree would open up more doors for future advancement. I guess you could say it was a stepping stone.

I have an AS in Business Admin which has nothing to do with what I am doign right now. It also has nothing to do with my current major - Interactive Media Design with a minor in programming.

There is a big gap between practice and precept. Most of the books we studied (except history, english literature) are all outdated by the time we come out of college. World is moving so fast, it is better to make internet-based study for all college students.

Yes, actually, business major, concentration in HR. Now working for an insurance broker, dealing with benefits, individuals, COBRA... etc etc. Yet, most of my friends who went to school right out of high school did NOT get jobs in their fields, many have gone back to school to do what the really WANT to do.
