Do you ever find you're writing something and you just can't stop the flow of idea's in your head? Does it keep you awake thinking about everything you could add in, and exactly how you want something to happen?
I find when i'm really into it, and flowing, i cant stop thinking about the story or piece of writing im doing. Even when i'm sitting there watching the television i can't stop thinking, and it drives me crazy.- I dont have a switch off button... Do you?

No I dont have that problem, but I must admit there are mornings when I wake up feeling full of go,and thats a good sign!!its more than likely down to the sun shining,so im hoping that the meterological office have got their forecasts correct!I like the most of us seem to thrive with the sunlight, and its great to be able to have the back door open and walk in and out all day!plus the garden is looking good in the sun.I have just poppped a lot of cornflower plants in at the bottom of the garden, and everytime I water them they are really looking very healthy, touch the wood. But Im sure we all have times that ideas buzz around our heads, and we are literally alive with fresh ideas, but lol we need the time to carry them all out!But I know what you mean,it seems as if you r brain has gone into an overdrive, and you cant stop it,well if you dont like feeling like that ,tAKE time out and relax, chill out with a cup of tea and just read for a while and let your systen slow down, the nervous system is a very complex thing, and it responds well to being rested.

Yeah i agree with the sunshine... Lol.
I mean, when i go walking in the morning, if its sunny (and not too hot) it ALWAYS puts a smile on my face and i cant tell why.
And i try to put my mind off of its overload - but it wont stop unless i continue writing XD

Hi cryw0lf.
Yes, I often find my mind automatically coming up with ideas and words and sentences for a project I'm working on. It sometimes happens when I'm laying in bed at night. I'm afraid to get up as it might wake up my husband but there are times I just have to sneak away and write the thoughts down. It occasionally keeps me awake.
It isn't a terrible problem for me and tends to happen when I'm not yet sleepy but we have turned off the tv and lights at bedtime. Good luck.

No, this does not happen to me. I have lots of ideas but I am probably too lazy these days to get so excited about them. :)
What I would suggest is that you sit down and try and write it out. So rather than trying to watch the television, turn the tv off and your computer on (or get out your notebook, whatever suit you best) and write for a hour or two.

I have trouble sleeping. In fact, I can get it to turn off and then I lay down to go to sleep and ideas, thoughts, lines, and more come flying at me. I even think of new book and story ideas while laying there! It can be frustrating and a tad exhausting! But on the other hand, I have a lot of great stuff that I am working on right now.

That sort of thing happens to me, but very rarely. Sometimes I wish it would go like that for me, mostly when I'm excited about my current "project." As for the switch off button... Heh, well, I don't think I've ever needed one, like I said, I wish I needed it. It would help when I needed new ideas and the like. Is that what happens with you? Does it help you write more?
