i just skipped a party... LOL... i know it's bad but i really don't feel like going out tonight and mingle. instead, i rather stay home, read, rest and mylot. Most importantly, catch up on the many deadlines that i have. did i make the right decision, what do you think?

duhuh... sure you did. any decision that is: this is what I want to do right now, is a right decision on a saturday evening. no mood for party, dont go. you will not have fun anyway since you are not in the mood for it. I skip out on party A LOT. so much that people kinda stopped asking me too... hmmm bad side effect.

It's perfectly fine to skip a party if you need time to rest and relax. Catch up time is important. However, if you skipped solely to post on mylot.com, I would make sure this site isn't taking over your life. Best of luck!

I think you made a fine decision to stay home and attend to things that you needed to. I hardly ever go out anymore I'm more of a home body now. I would rather stay home and be on MyLot, watch a movie, get somethings done around the apartment and just relax. I used to go out to parties but got tired of all that and now I just stay home and relax.

I am one man who will never honour any party invitations-I could do a lot towards planning a party but will never be there to attend it-all my friends now know this, and thy dont bother me with explanations-they just know I would never attend any party.

hi shiloh! hahaha i think i know which party is that...my sister in law just came home from it! lol anyway, i dunno. i can't really say if it is right or wrong, after all, i also have my anti social tendencies. lol so i dunno. but i guess, if you don't feel like it, your not obliged, especially if you are not that close to the person who invited you. but if it is really a close friend, then i would really feel compelled to go, not just for my sake but for the person who invited me who is really expecting my presence. but if i will just be another statistic, then it would be easier for me to forego the event. hehehe okay, i am also antisocial tonight. i am not feeling well so i am not up to socializing either. that is why im also mylotting! lol well, i gotta go! have a happy sunday! God bless you!

I dont think skipping a party is bad.. If you have something important to do, then skipping a party is a right decision... or maybe if the person who's having a party is close enough to you, you may just attend for a while just to let her know that you have time for him/her despite your busy schedule, then just tell that person you have a lot to do.. for sure he/she will understand and allow you to leave early..
