Last night i was at a leaving do for a work mate and got myself quite blindingly drunk.
like all drunk people i think i am incredibly funny.
So in front of everyone i walked up to the office cutie and asked if she would like an australian kiss.
she asked what an australian kiss was and i told her it was the same as a french kiss but done 'down under'.
she slapped me in the kisser.
Was she correct to do this and have you ever embarressed yourself on a works night out?

I don't know how good of a kisser your are...be it French, Australian, or otherwise...but you are either incredibly dumb...or you have a BIG swinging pair of balls....LOL
just wait until Monday when you have to work with her again...LOL

Yeah she was right to slap you, what you said was rather inappropriate, actually very inappropriate. I have never been on a works night out, so I have never done anything embarrassing. I tend not to do embarrassing things when drunk really, I am still the same person as I am sober really, just more willing to dance.

Don't want the drama in the office THATS for sure.
Why would you want to go THERE though, I mean I dont even like to talk to my boyfriend about it, if it happens it happens, but its not glamourous.
Yea, I agree with the other one above me, you should resolve this immediately because woman have a power in the office its called: gossip, and even if it was true, it can get in the third person ear and the story can change completely next thing you know, your the office dud

haha! i know there are guildlines here so i hope they dont get upset about this discussion. thats funny. only thing is, im a woman so dont have to worry. but my hubby used to sometimes as a joke, but standing a little aways, ask if a gal wanted a little head, then pull a barbie dolls head out of his pocket to show them. he got laughs, but not slapped. maybe he knew not to get to close till he showed them?

Okay, my friend . . . lol . . . you have serious issues. In that I never know whether you are serious or not. Take a breath and behave yourself. Got my eyes on you.

I think you deserve it. You shouldn't say things like that.

xboxboy hi well perhaps if you had not got yourself
blindingly drunk, as you put it, you might not have
got yourself slapped.wowie.Yes I think so, under the
circumstances. No I never got that drunk so I did nothave to
be embarrassed the next day. I did have a hangover once from our hospital christmas party and threw up on the way to wo rk,
thoroughly embarrassing my friend who was walking to work with me. I was seven months pregnant at the time.

LOL! I'm a woman and I definitely would have slapped you for that one.
I have never gotten myself in that condition but I've known plenty of people who have so don't beat yourself up too much about it. Take it as a learning experience and try not to let it happen again when you're with the people you work with. You have to see them all week and many times they're not as forgiving and as forgetful as your buds are. Apologize to the office cutie first chance you get so she doesn't think that you're a jerk.

It sounds to me you got what you deserved. What ever happened to having respect? Especially for a woman you didn't even know.

If it were me, I'd of realized you were drunk and kind of joked and laughed it off. Obviously, you chose the wrong lady to mess around with. If I were you, i'd go up to her when sober and appologize and let it go. Ya, I have embarrassed myself at office parties a couple of times back in the day. I'd get so nervous that i'd drink way too much and probably act like myself rather than the office person that they usually saw.

sorry, but i will do the same...being drunk is not an excuse to be disrespectful...i will even slap you twice. it is because what you said is rude and disrespectful.
