Handwriting

I am very glad that the computer was invented... and it is now available anywhere... because i have a very ugly handwriting... i think i am the only teacher in the school where i taught who has this liability... so i always tend to ask students to write on the board for me... so now... i rarely write using pen and paper... i just type away on my laptop... any letter that i need to accomplish...

hi gr8life! i don't have a nice handwriting though its readable and i write fast. i still write a lot, most of them letters to my friends from afar. i also write in my journal. i write a lot in the office because not everything is computerized here. also, when i attend trainings or seminars, i take notes in my notebook. i listen and write faster than listen and type in the computer. i've been used to writing a lot since i was probably in gradeschool. we did a lot of writing copying down lessons during my high school days and taking notes was a must during college.

Hi g8life, I used to have a neat and nice penmanship but this time that I am not writing often..It has some changes..LIke you, i am bored a lot to whenever I will write something...I am more convenient typing either letter, messages or notes! I am trying hard to improve it again and even for like once a week, I will devote a little time writing!

I do type most of the time, it's so much faster and easier just to pull up a word processing program and print it out when your done. But sometimes typing just won't do and a personally hand written letter is in order. I used to have beautiful handwriting, very easy to read and not too flowery looking. Nowadays my handwriting looks truely awful and yes I get aches in my hand too. I think the problem is we get used to using different muscles in the hand when we type than when we write. Since I don't write very often it doesn't really bother me but I find that my printing looks much better than my cursive writing lately, so I tend to print everything. I do miss my pretty handwriting though.

Hi :) I think writing with hand is very useful and interesting,should not be forgotten. And sometimes, handwriting is more convenient and also good for your brain. It can be a certain practise or exercise for your brain.

I prefer to write....I don't do alot of it but when I do, I would rather hand write it opposed to typing it and printing it.... When I was in college I hand wrote all my notes....I found that I remembered things better that way....

I still write a lot. I hand-write my grocery list, other shopping lists, to-do lists, some letters, cards. But I remember back in elementary school and most of middle school hand-writing all my school reports and the crazy cramps I used to get in my hands. Ugh, that was horrible. Once I went into high school and college I would type all of the reports and papers. So much quicker, easier, and less painful than having to write it all!!

I still do some writing my hand but I've noticed that, as I've gotten older, my handwriting isn't as good as it once was. I can also type much faster than I can write so I prefer to use the keyboard for anything that I can. I hand write my grocery lists and a few letters that I still send out by regular mail but, other than that, I type.

Well, if it is something personal, like a thank you or a letter to a friend I will hand write it. I think that is more personal. Also, when I am in a hurry I will write rather than type because one I don't type so fast. For example, I keep a phone log in my office and note the information I am being given during the calls by hand. If I tried to type these I would miss half the information.

I only write but it is just a signature because everything I have to do I always put it on my computer for easier way.......and a good save.
