yes, i think so, too, because kids don't get to do a lot of running anymore.

I don't, but playgrounds don't seem like much fun anymore, you can't have roundabouts because they're dangerous, as are climbing frames and swings, I don't think anyone's decided slides are dangerous yet though. People are too busy wrapping their kids in cotton wool and don't want them to get hurt by doing what children should be doing, playing and getting a few bruises from falls, that they would rather have them at home on the computer where they're safe.

overly protective, aren't we these days? but when i was a kid, i've always enjoyed these things --- even the bumps and bruises.

I agree with you. We live a few doors down from a playground and rarely see kids there. If we do most of them are toddlers. n our street it seems like my kids are the only ones who play outside. They are both really outdoors types and would much rather play in the yard than in the house. Of course they both love video games, but we try to save them for rainy or cold weather and long car trips.

Yes it's true. Now a days kids are not willing to come out of their homes. This is due to the development in the world of entertainment technology. They enjoy a lot playing video games, Computer games etc....... but it's definitely spoiling their health.
