Well I am a Windows User but I feel that Linux is getting much mre popular than any other OS because of the main reason that it is Open SOURCE and it is made for the people, by the people,to the people. It is highly customizable!!

Both, Linux is free but games not run under Linux.
Windows is smart and expensive. I use windows it's good for me.

Windows is user friendly while linux is better in security

Linux works best even with a 32MB of RAM.It definitely beats Windows in most aspects and best fo all it's free.The display resolution is far beyond the scope of Windows.Defintely Linux will be able to display more graphics with least resources.Try googling for more info.
