windows or linux?? or any other?

i have used windows ever since i had the comp way back in 1998. i have used win 95,98,ME,XP . i would love to try vista also. but, my college pals tell me that linux is way better than windows. although i find windows has a better user interface...
so, ppl ... wat OS do u use??

iam using windows XP, ihave never used any other operating system. i have heard linux is goood.

Currently, I use Windows XP, but I am considering migrating to Linux.
