Do you prefer bigger or smaller handbags?

I also cannot find all the stuff I put in them, ...it's like a fishpond.Every time I throw in a line I come up with some unusual item, but not the thing I'm looking for. Story of my handbag life! I still need to find one with more pockets and with zips on the pockets, they tend to have those flimsy partitions where everything falls into the main partition or better still, have you ever had a hole in the lining and wondered where your lippy went? only to discover a month down the line that it was in the lining of the bag!

For me, the bigger the better and I will carry whatever I think I may need while I'm out!

Wow,10! I think I might have had my first bag when I was 15 and I haven't stopped carrying one since! I do not have any small bags for special occassions, I should definitely look into that but every time I go to buy one, there's loads of big beautiful bags in that section and I forget.. so I borrow one for events from one of my sisters. With colours, the more vibrant and outstanding, the better..

I also carry quite a few things incase I need them and I think the habit got worse when I had my little one when I used to carry half the house with me

i have a fear of needing something i dont have in my purse. lol. I wonder if theres some psycological reason? I know that feeling! It's the debating I go through whether to carry the makeup, lippy, lip gloss, umbrella, scarf, shoes or sandals, lunch, the house..!

I should just buy a humongous one and be done with it! I think that all the time but seem to get more...Also when I travel abroad, I give away the old ones to my mum, cousins and aunts and then I have an excuse to buy a new one Talk about recycling haha! The ones I have now are big enough to carry my sandals for before and after work, my work shoes and lunch too Used to be handy for carrying my little one's stuff when she was a baby too

yeah right.. well, i dont really mean shoulder bags with those long shoulder straps..haha i mean shoulder bags like the hand bags that you hang on your shoulder!hahaha well, whatever it's called i like those big ones where i can put most of my stuffs in!hehehe

I am a bit confused about the difference here..I believe you can wear handbags on your shoulder too.. Do you probably mean the really smart bags with the long straps you can wear across your chest or otherwise? I prefer handbags if that is the case and big ones too

Yes, I do rarely go to events where I need a small handbag too and when I do, I have to borrow my sisters' as I have not got any small purses, just huge bags and maybe when I go clubbing too but that is ages ago too...

I prefer small ones for evening out maybe if I am going clubbing.. for work and other outings, the bigger the better

i just can't imagine myself sipping champagne while carrying a big bag:-) I can! Just kidding...it does depend on the occassion really,, I do make an effort for special occassions to carry small ones or to the club though it feels quite awkward when I am used to big bags

really! i hope i have not offended you:-) well, i think it really depends on who is carrying the bag:-) i've seen also very fashionable people here and specially on magazines who are able to bring big bags on formal occasions. it's the way they carry the bag when you see them, so comfortable and confident about themselves, it's as if they are not carrying a bag at all. or the bag is also a part of the whole package, the whole ensemble as they say. and also especially if what they are are designer bags such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Prada. No matter how big they are, I too will be proud to bring them on any occasion.

Haha Size does matter, though I don't think either would look silly to me, more of a fashion statement or what?

Big bags mean a lot of space, when I can chuck everything inside - wallet, comb, lipstick, powder, tissue, keys, notepads, business cards, and a lot of bits and pieces that I can't put a name to. That's why I like big bags Makes it hard to switch to a smaller bag for evenings when I am thinking, what about my wallet, my lippy, my comb, will everything fit?

I prefer the big ones where I can carry many bits, with small ones depends on the function, if I can get away with a big bag, I will carry one
