I have two children that are 2 and a half years apart. Aside from the 9 months of morning(well allday)sickness, I had very easy , by the book births. Giving birth to a child is one of the hardest things your body goes through. I have heard of many complications women have had to go through. In the end it is worth it. What was your childbirth experience like?

Hi bryanna!
I have six children, and had one complicated pregnancy.
I developed a urinary tract infection when i was six and a half months pregnant, and went into early labor.
For three days the doctors tried to stop my contractions with no success, so i had to deliver her early.
She was just 1lb 13ounces when she was born, and spent three months in the special care neo-natal ward.
I'm glad to say: that was 17 years ago and she has never been sick since, she's a beautiful, well mannered angel, and i thank God everyday for blessing me with her.

My first child's birth was an absolute nightmare. I dialated easily and progressed just fine. However, when it was time to push she would not come out. They let me "PUSH" for 5hrs before giving me an episiotomy because I was demanding it. I went through all of this because the nurse wasn't doing a very good job checking the positioning of the baby. She was coming "sunny side up". So basically everytime I pushed the hard part of her skull was smashing against my pelvic bone. The pregnancy with the first one was textbook and perfect though. No morning sickness, no real problems at all. The second pregnancy I kept horrible heartburn, had bad morning sickness, felt like crap the whole time. With her though I went into labor and almost didnt make it to the hospital. I was already 9cms and they werent going to even give me an epidural until I demanded it. I pushed for less than 30minutes and got her out just fine. She is only 3months old now. I just found out though that during her delivery she broke her clavical (collar bone) trying to come down the birth canal. They are both healthy and beautiful girls though and I would do it again for them in a heart beat.
