Do you have a backupcamera?

I just bought a Canon G9 as my back up camera. I used to have just one camera and used if for everything. Now that I am doing contract work I have to have a back up camera. My primary camera is a DSLR and for now I am using a Canon G9 as a back up. Often I have someone helping me and because I photograph High School Sports I could be taking photos of the Varsity while my assistant is taking photos of the Jr High Game. I need a quality camera that is easy to use. I also use my back up camera as my travel camera. Do you use a Back up Camera, and if so what kind is it?

I have a Canon DSLR, but I also have my old powershot s50, and my husband has the old digital elph sd100 - we paid big bucks for it back in it's day. You can't always conveniently take the DSLR with you.

That was one of the things I considered in buying the Canon G9. It is a little bulky but it can fit in my pocket and it is the best rated camera short of a DSLR. So Far I love it. I am taking it to Hawaii with me so it will get a work out there.

I love Canon, I am glad that is what I started with. The pictures have always been great from every Canon I have ever used.
