Does your lip gloss contain SPF? If not, chances are that shimmery shade could be putting you at risk for skin cancer.
The skin on the lips is already fragile and slick, translucent sheen from glosses may help UV rays penetrate it even more easily.Skin cancer that starts on the lips is more likely to spread faster than if it started elsewhere on the body.So use SPF infused gloss if you really want to use lip gloss and it'll keep you healthy.

Thank you very much for the information! I wear lip gloss alot and only some of my regular lip glosses have SPF. I will definatly use them when I am out in the sun next time!

Yes my friend you are very right with that! So lesson for all of us, we must buy lip gloss with SPF even if it would cost us more. Cheers!

I heard that on the news. It is like the really shiny ones because it attracts the sun more. You can just buy a lip balm that has SPF in it and wear it underneath your really shiny lip gloss. It also works!
