X-Men

Can anyone recommend a good way to catch up with X-Men? I watched the cartoons off and on as a kid, and I really liked the movies. I'd like to read and/or watch more. Where should I start?

The X-Men Animated Series are great. The films are okay, but you would have to buy Essentials: X-Men and X-Men: The Ultimate Guide to really get into X-Men, also, just buy X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men, X-Factor, and X-Force to really get into X-Men. If you can find back issues or trade paperbacks, those will be a lot of help.
