Did you like Windows vista?

if we talk about look and performance of softwares which are exclusively made for Vista, then Vista is best, but if we talk about Security and Performance issues, its not as good as XP is.

I Like Windows Vista. I got it with the new laptop that I got, and it works just fine with no problems. Now to upgrade a XP machine to Vista you have to make sure you have somewhere between the min and max hardware requirements for it to work with out problems. and any NEW OS that you get will probably have the same or more system requirements to be met.

Windows Vista is a perfect Operating System if your system can handle it. If not, you should just stick back with Windows XP. The 64 bit operating system for example runs applications faster if the hardware and software both supports 64 bit. Having 64bit can also mean that you can have more than 3gb of ram. Vista also have DirectX 10 which is used for future gaming in case you have not noticed. Have a look at the new service pack for vista and decide if you want to go with it or not.

No i don't like vista. the same reason like you , and also the security is too strict. it's inconvenient .

I have Vista, my PC came with it and handles it fine, I would not upgrade an XP machine to Vista if XP works and is supported. I am OK with it, I think many people just resist because of what they have heard and sometimes bad news travels faster than good.
