We're of on a trip. No we're not, yes we are....

That sounds like my exit from the house earlier today! We were only popping out for an hour down to the beach before it got too hot and busy and yet I went back through the front door three times before we actually left to go. Once to turn the washing machine on so it could be doing whilst gone, second time to get the bottle of cool juice I'd made up and the third time to get little ones sun cap, but like you we got there in the end. I'm usually pretty organised but heat makes my head fuzzy! Ellie :D

Well,did you go??and if so where did you go??and lol i bet you are just a heap of sweat now!!!.but if you have been out its been a glorious day for a picnic,ive had mum over ,she didnt have any energy to move so we played scrabble on the talbel in the garden!!I won both games,which lol didnt go down too well, but she sent the damn board flying so we had to restart the second game from scratch!im having eneven more trouble than usual with my typing today..maybe its the heat?maybe im dehydrated?by the good night its some exhibition in your house before you manage to get out of the door!!by the time you are on your way it must be time to turn ariund again!!but lol I hope wwherever you went that you had a lovely day!!

Hi p1ke well to be honest I don't do things like that anymore as there is no-one to do it with beleive it or not!! Everyone sprcially family are too busy working or off with their own friends my friends are normally out visiying family or something..still its just as well I like my own space!! littleowl

Well organised does not enter into my way of life one little bit,I am a mudler through,though if we were going out for the day I may well be ready, as getting hubby to go out for the day is like pulling an ants teeth.But there are certain thing that you mention that have to be double checked,and all of a sudden it is like we have developed an Obssessive compulsive disorder.the door has to be checked and re checked,the windows have to be opened and closed,just to make sure,and then when you finally sit in the car hubby says he hasnt got his binoculars,so its back again to collect them.So much like you we get there eventually.

i am well organized nbut at the same time i am still like you. i will have everything packed and ready to go because i make a list of everything that i need to pack. but the day of the trip or the outing as i am locking the doors i always have to run back into the house to make sure the stove isnt off ( even though i never even had it on to begin with), or i have to check to make sure the iron and my hot curler isnt on. and it is funny because my boyfriend is always like you were never even using any of these things so you think they just turn on by themselves?

I like your post. It reminds me so much of the excitement every time we are on trip. Too much excitement can cause forgetfulness. Many things forgotten and sometimes leads to a family's quarrel blaming each other. The best thing to do is make a list, so that everything is intact and covered up.

We are disorganized and we are always forgeting something. I need to gather everything ahead of time and put it by the front door, but then knowing me I would forget to put somethig by the front door to go. That is why it is good to make list. I make list so I don't forget to take things. I might have to go back and get them but I do check th list before pulling out.

I'm very well organised but I do have to keep going back for things I have put ready to take but forgotten to pick up. Still it keeps me busy while I'm waiting for Mr Croc to get ready.

Oh for sure we get there eventually. I have always said when I try and get my group together for any family outing we travel and look like the Beverly hillbillies :))) It is an adventure for sure but never boring :))

thats sounds like my family.in and out ,last minute wee breaks.drive down the road,did i lock the door,back home again.off we go again.oh no forgot the mobile phone,back home again,off we go again,never early for anything,always late.yes we get there eventually and i am usually exhausted when we do get there and this my friend is just to go to the local shops.lol.cheers sue

I'm organized when I go out most of the time. There have been a few times usually when we take both kids that it takes forever to get out the door but most of the time we are out fast.

Usually well organized. If it isn't a thing of the moment it usually goes pretty well.

I hope you finally got to go on your picnic. Yes I am very organized when I go out. I usually make a list of things I need to take way in advance. I like to make sure that I don't forget anything important. Since I don't go anywhere to often this makes it quite easy. I usually have a lot of time to prepare!I'm sure you had everything you needed. My boyfriend says you can always buy whatever you need! Yeah right, I'll be if I forgot something expensive he wouldn't be saying that!

LOL This was a very entertaining paragraph, and it finished up with a very good quesion. I hae forced mysel to become organized, because I know that when I'm in the cab to the airport, or waiting or that plain to Phoenix. I can't just run back and get something. I usually start packing a few days in advance, and pack things like my computer the morning beore I leave.

Yes, we do that all the time, well I do anyway, I'm so forgetful. My husbands always asking me if I'm ready for the nursing home yet...lol. We'll be ready to go, he'll already be out in the car, and I'll still be in the house, have to go to the bathroom one last time, then I come out, get outside, then have to go back and get my purse, or cell phone or something..lol. I would like to think I'm organized, but I'm usually not. My husband starts telling me way ahead of time, better get your stuff ready, better go bathroom..lol.

lol.... yup... we are like you!!! with 6 kids and 3 adults at home, it will be rather immossible not to be like that!!! lol..... are you gone yet? lol!!!
