My favorite dish is a sweet made from carrot. Here it is called as carrot halwa.. you have to skin the carrots and scrape them... Now put it in a pan and add milk and let it cook. When the carrot is cooked add the required sugar and mix well. Since it is a sweet you can add howmuchever you want..Now add a little ghee and toss it till the ghee seperates.. Now wonderful carrot halwa is ready. You can mix it with icecream it would be lovely.. So..which is your favorite dish and if you cook it, pls share the recipe with us...

I love carrot halwa but I cannot make it.........LOL! My better half is very found of it and she makes it for me during winters putting all sort of interesting and rich ingredients in it, like milk, dry fruits, raisins and what not. It is one of the most temting dishes for me.

I like enchiladas. I cook chicken with a packet of fajita sauce. If I don't have the packet, I put in some lime juice and Worcestershire sauce and a little garlic powder. Meanwhile, I chop up some onions and bell peppers. When the chicken is ready, I get out the tortillas which are little flat, round flour wrappers and spread a little refried beans on them. I add the chicken, some onions and peppers and sprinkle it with cheese then roll it up and put it in a baking dish. For myself, I would make two. For company, two apiece. I pour milk green chile sauce over the whole thing and put it in the oven for about fifteen minutes. Before I take it out, I sprinkle more onions, peppers and some cheese over it and let it sit in there about ten minutes, having turned off the heat. This is really good, and fairly low fat and calories. What is ghee? Your carrot halwa sounds very good!

when you heat butter and let it heat till the sputtering ends It becomes ghee. It has a lovely smell and we mix it with many of our foods especially sweets.. But it is a high calorie food.. Thanks for sharing your recipe..

My favorite dish is tagliatelli with porcini (a type of very taste mushrooms). Put some oliv oil with a little byte of garlic, let them warm and then put the mushrooms they have to cook for ca. 10 minute and then put some wheapcream, then cook the tagliatelle ("al dente") and dress it with the souce and a little of parmesan cheese.. Nun ps(if you don't have porcini you can use for this recepies also other type of mushrooms like champignon
