Skyorcketing santa price?

Since the poll opened about the next xmas item (with a choice "santa suit"), the price of Santa Hats have skyrocketed at the rate of 500k-800k per day. it seemed to have slowed down when the market price reached 18.7M (with a max of 19.2M??). What do you think of the price change? I personally think its strang since H'ween obviously comes before xmas so why is Santa going up first? and also, has Jagex announced if there is going to be a Santa Hat included in the Santa Suit? Coz if so... the price of a santa hat will go down to 0.

your quite right, santa's are dropping as fast as they rose, which is bad news for me. bought my santa for 13.5m and was planning on selling it around the 19-20m mark. i woke up monday mornng to put the santa in the g.e for 19.5m, and WAM!, out of now where g.e updates and santa drops like 800k. since then ive left it in the g.e at lowest hoping it would sell, even if it makes me less profit than i expected. however i will be buying a couple of santas around september, because i can gaurantee they will skyrocket again to about 30m.

lol i do know that h'ween comes before christmas, but i got the santas, because i prefered the looks, and ive always wanted one :D

o ye, and i was pretty greedy, my friends were telling me to sell it a day before it dropped but i wanted more cash. ive learnt a valuable lesson from that.....

wow... u r pretty greedy.. lol 13.5-20M... 6.5M.... u can still make a lot of money from the place ur in atm... 3M is pretty good... minimum price is 16.6M i think. and what makes you think its going to go up to 30M at x-mas? u realise h'ween comes b4 xmas? lol some things u gotta learn about merchanting..

well first of all jagex would never add a hat to the suit because they know it would drop considerably and the reason santas skyrocketed is because lots are buying and selling santas at max price because of the xmas event coming out and everyone wants a santa before it arrives
