Did you watch the premier of the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus movie last night?

Your thoughts and opinions, please.
I have to tell you that my girls loved it but as a parent I was disappointed.
Here is why:
we were blessed in winning a very big sweepstakes in 2007 and part of our prize was going to see the concert in Anaheim, California (we live in MD). The show was awesome! I think DH and I had more fun, LOL. It was my girl's first concert experience (they were 10 and 6) and I think they were a little overwhelmed. We were only 8 rows back, so it was quite the experience.
I don't think the movie captured that. I understand that Disney put the movie together for fans who couldn't get tickets. But honestly, the movie was a tease.
They could have filmed the entire concert and showed that. They would have still made all the money they did at the theaters and the DVD release.
The extra footage was nice but they could have shown that at the end.
Am I alone in this thinking?

I went to the concert also!!!!! when it was in Philly. And i went to see it in 3d in theaters and was excited when it was gonna be on TV also. But i do agree they didn't capture all of it and it was disappointing. When i went there i didn't have a video camera either so it woulda been nice to see it all again and have those memories on DVD but i am still buying the DVD when it comes out. I do agree it did suck they didn't capture it all though. They should have let the whole concert play through then had the extra stuff at the ending.

I live in Maryland so we are kinda of close. LOL
We did have a video camera and since we were so close we were asked to stop videoing the show. I was taking the pictures and DH was taking the video, I guess he wasn't smooth enough.
I wonder if Disney is planning to put out a DVD of her complete concert, maybe at Christmas? That would be a great idea!

They asked you to stop? Wow! I was really close to the second row. I think they are putting a DVD out in August but it will probably be the one that was in theaters and on TV. Maybe they will put extra stuff on the DVD. I got alot of pictures of her. I was like on the side of the stage though so a lot of them are the back of her head. I got REALLY good pictures of the Jonas Brothers though! I can't wait for the DVD.
