you know, everyone will become old one day, when we become old, i was wondering would you like to live with your children or live alone or live in the nursery for the elderly? why?

If my children and their family (wife/kids) are willing to take care of me when I am old, then I will stay with them. I think I will enjoy with my grandkids if they show love and affection for their grandma. However, if no one of my kids are willing to take care of their old mom, then I will opt to live in a retirement home.

Neither! I want to die at home n my own bed. Wiht that "Life Alert thing out there, I feel that I can get a home nurse and not be with my kids OR in a nursing home and that'll make us all happy!(There's GREAT "long-term care" insurance out there just for this!-So you can stay right at home.)

I am hoping that when I get old I will be able to live alone ~ well, hopefully with my husband too. I hope that we will be able to still be on our own without having to ask our children for help. My mom is 77 and still going strong. She lives on her own. If anythign were to happen, I know that we wouldn't put her in a nursing home, we would take her in if possible and take care of her here. I hope my kids would do the same for me.
