I am not enjoying myLot

Probably part of your problem is that you are very new and haven't posted much. I have never spent much time on the profile part of the site. The discussion board is where all the action is at. I know since we have profile pages it seems easy to try to compare myLot to facebook or myspace but they really have nothing in common. If you just want to make friends and chat privately, myLot is probably not going to work for you. But if you don't mind being out in the open and discuss thing publically then myLot will work well for you once you get used to it.

The same problem was with me when i was a kid here. Don't worry about it dude. You will find it interesting after a few while. Actually the problem of yours is you are expecting too much. I am sorry to hear that you aren't enjoying mylot. I don't have a facebook, so maybe I am missing out on that aspect. I have met some great friends on mylot and look forward to discussing different things with them. I have certain friends discussions sent right to my email, so I am in contact with them for every discussion they start. Maybe you should give it some more time.

Hello! Welcome to Mylot. I am a new member too here. But I like it here, because I like discussing things with people. And I guess you might get it wrong. It is not just like another social network like Facebook or friendster, but it's more a discussion forum for me. Where people talk about anthing more than finding friends. And it is too different than blog, because you don't have a weblog here. I really hope you can enjoy it here, but if you want to know there is a paying site for socializing, something like facebook and pay you to use the website.
