What a great day for a picnic

I am a member of a club in our town. The lodge is right on the lake.
Today is the family picnic and it ended up looking like it is going to be a nice sunny day.
They have hotdogs, ice cream, games, relays, pony rides and much more. It is going to be a fun day for the family.
What are your plans for today? Is the weather cooperating with you?

Sounds like a fun time Sunshine. The weather hasn't been the greatest the last couple days. We have had lots of rain here in Vermont. We are just coming out of a night of thunder storm after thunder storm--with huge amounts of down pours. Today, my plans are to do nothing and relax all day. Have a wonderful time at your party.

Hi Sweet~ Yep it was a great day! The breeze was just perfect so it wasn't too hot or too cool. My daughter won the water balloon toss for her age group so came home with $5 for her prize, along with all the other toys and candy they gave the kids as prizes for other games.
Today is my day to do relax:)

I bet your daughter was really excited to win the $5. Does she have plans for all that money yet? I am glad it didn't rain where you were. Some pretty awful storms went through the Albany, NY area yesterday. They have been getting hammered. Of course we are right in the path--but luckily yesterday it missed us a bit.

Her plan was to take the money to the arcade at the amusement park we will be going to next month. Now she wants to buy a guinea pig, so this money is in the pet fund.

We had a great weekend too. It was our family reunion- and it was so much fun! 
We played volleyball- games! 
My body was real tired on Sunday!
Visited with all the out of state family that comes home yearly for the reunion.
Ate tons of great food! and swam!
It was a great weekend.

I love family reunions! It is so much fun to connect with the family in and out of town. Sounds like you had a great time. Good for you getting some exercise in too:)

That sounds like a reat way to sped the day, Nothing much on he go or me today. I jus spent the day a the coffee shop on the internet Not much to do bu sit around and relax. The weather was good today. It was rotten yesterday, ut it was very good today.

That sounds like a wonderful day,sunshine4. Our weather (yesterday, when you posted this) was not so good. Scary thundestorms and downpouring rain in the afternoon. We ended up staying in for most of the day, although we did go out for breakfast in the morning. Got a lot done around the house, painting, cleaning, etc. so it was all good.
Sometimes I look forward to rainy days in the summertime!

You certainly did get alot accomplished. I usually do the same on rainy days. It seems that the house always needs a good cleaning by the time it rains, except for this year it seems like all we have had is rain.
My thought is that rainy days are either for good movies or to get lots of project done.
