I always best recommend to my friends the "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey, as the best book I considered favorably.

I really enjoyed Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. It is a very touching and poignant book that will have you laughing and crying. I read it in about a day and a half as it was very gripping and hard to put down. i really cared about the characters and was wondering what was going to happen next.

I loved reading Beloved. It was a very deep book though, so I ended up reading it several times and enjoying it each one for different reasons.

For me, I maybe not a Religious man but i think the best book that was recommended to me was "THE HOLY BIBLE" of course the Old and the New Testmaents. Why? It is because I found out that everything you want to know to survive in this world were all written there...evrything not just Spiritual but all categories on our lives.. I suggest you try reading it...

The Animal Farm, by George Orwell will remain as the most interesting Political satire I have ever read-it depicts to the annoyance of African dictators, how well meaning revolutionaries assume power and turn out to be even worse reactionaries than those they deposed!
