Madonna's brother revealing all about her life in a book!

I can't believe that Madonna's brother (can't remember his name sorry) has just published a book revealing all of Madonnas personal life for anybody to read. When asked on Sunrise news this morning if he regrets publishing the book, he stated, "he has no regrets." He does not see anything wrong in revealing all of Madonnas personal life to everyone. I think it is so selfish of him to do such a thing. How could you betray a family member like this. I have to wonder if he did this out of jealousy, is he jealous of his sisters fame and status.
My question to you is, what do you think about this? Also would you forgive a family member for doing such a thing? I don't know if I could forgive someone in my family if they did this? The damage would have already have been done and almost impossible to repair....3 people like this

I can believe it, I am just surprised that he has waited this long to come out of the woodwork, the worm. I expect though that he has been watching her life and taking notes and photos, putting it all together until he has enough to do it.
I guess jealousy is a big reason, then there is the monetary side of it, he may want a bit of what she has who knows. I feel sorry for her not being able to rely on her family must be hard. I am not sure that I will read the book to be honest.

Yeah that is where I first heard about it from, he was boasting about his book on the morning show, Sunrise. I hope they did not pay him to talk about his book.

Hi Kiran that must be awful for Maddonna and I wonder how she must feel about what he has done to her if it had happened to me I would go mad with my brother or sister..guess we will have to see what happens from here now..hugs littleowl

Hi Kiran I didn't actually know about it til your disussion..she must feel so angry about it and I expect she will never want to know her brother again..why do people especially family do this.. its abominable hugs littleowl

I would imagine she would feel devestated and betrayed. I hope she never forgives him for what he has done, the damage done is too much it could ruin her marriage, with all the speculation in the book about Madonna suposedly having an affair, not to mention it could destroy her reputation as Queen of pop.

I am sure he is doing this for money! He is very selfish and the fact that Madonna is very famous, he think that people will be very interested in buying the book and he will earn a lot from it..
If I am in the situation,I can't forgive him! I have a personal life which should be respected by everyone!

I think he is doing it for the money aswell, it is such a joke. I hope Madonna never forgives him, I know I never would. She deserves to keep her privacy, it is bad enough that celebrities have paparatzi following them around wherever they go. Who would have thought that you own brother could be worse then the paparatzi.

Well, I guess it depends on what is in the book...is it personal things that she wouldn't want printed or is it childhood memories...is it things that most ppl already know about or deep dark family secrets...does he portray her honestly or does he lie and paint her in a bad light. All of these things would have to be considered before I could really decide how I felt about a tell all book and whether I'd forgive him.

Hi kiran,
I have not read anything about it yet, is it out on sale? to me that is jeealousy and also money it amazing what money can do, yes I agree with you I will never betray my own fmily member for all the money in the world. My nephew will be really angry with him because he loves Madonna.

Hi Tamara, apparently the book is coming on sale just before she does a concert tour. I agree totally with you all the money in the world could never get me to betray my family, I hope his book is a big flop.

I read some parts of the book which make Madonna seem like someone who breaks her promises and focuses completely on her own needs.I only read maybe one chapter. I was horrified. Often times, famous and successful people are famous or successful because they think only of themselves. I mean, I don't really know her personally, but if the book is true, it paints Madonna in a very poor light. I wonder if this book had anything to do with her marriage problem. I have always thought she was a good actor, singer and dancer. I guess she can't be a great person.

He must not like his sister very much....I do not think i would really like it either..You could get sued for doing such a thing...The thing about it is "How does Madonna feel about it"..? Have you read the book? if not i just wonder if he said some horrible things about her? ..I do not think i could betray a family member like this even if i was jealous,thats a terrible thing to do..

It appears atrocious and stunning. It is really bad, no saneful and wise brother would do like it. No one has any right to make public anybody's private life like this. I agree with you he may be of perverted mind and may be feeling jealous of his sister's fame.

how can u trust anyone like him , who cant kept secrets of Her Sister.
no more comments and i am sure damage will be to hom not to maddona as she will be getting sympathy as his brother did WRONG

Oh I can. If it can make money someone will do it. Even a family member. And celebs are fair game to most people. I think it is awful. I am not in the public eye. So I don't know how easy forgiveness would be to come by in Madonnas situation. But it sure does stink.

His name is Christopher Ciccone. I read a few parts of it and I can understand why he would write something like that to expose the Material Girl. He used to be Madonna's confidante and interior designer but apparently Madonna has not paid him what he's worth. So yeah jealousy and money are huge factors in it. But I could see where he's coming from. They had their ups and downs.
