Does anyone know the mechanics to earn money here on mylot?

Well, you get money for participation.. that includes starting quality discussions that get responses, responding to other people's discussions, rating people's discussions and responses(via the + and -), uploading pictures with your discussions and/or in your interest categories,etc. Those are the known ways to earn here, at least from what I can remember right now. Nobody knows exactly how much we make per item or anything, and there is good reason for that, my lot has a special system in place to prevent people from trying to game the system. But I can tell you that I have made up to 1.65 in one day before, and I have heard of people making 2-4 dollars a day. Basically you earn on here by posting quality stuff, quantity is important as well, but not as important as quality, because say one person posts 60 one-liners a day, then there is another person that posts really well thought out good quality discussions and responses--but they only write 10 or 20, well, that person will probably make more, because they most likely wrote good responses, that were at least 4-5 lines, maybe longer! The only way having a lot of friends here helps as far as earnings are concerned is, the more people you add, the more discussions you will come across, because you can be alerted or just check if your friends have posted anything new! Also, if you have a lot of friends, they are going to see your discussions and might even reply! Anyway, welcome to mylot, and I hope you are enjoying it so far!
