Does your husband gift your mother on his own?

I have a friend of mine whose husband gifted his mother-in-law a nice surprise on her birthday, she never told him to buy any gifts for her mother. many of them maintain a healthy relationship and occassional wishing on birthdays and anniversaries was what I knew, gifting was very surprising to me? I don't have such a nice husband.how many of your husbands can do that without your prompting?

Heck no! I don't know too many other husbands who do, either. Why is that? If I didn't buy something for her, she wouldn't get anything from him. So sad.
My daughter complains about the same thing with her husband. My son isn't much better.

Oops! I see I read your comment wrong. So sorry.
Well, if a guy can't or won't remember to buy his own mother something, he sure isn't going to buy it for his wife's mom. I've never known a man like that.
