I prefer Acoustic guitar over electric because it has a very smooth sound when you fit the electric string.Acoustic guitars are much more cheaper than electric guitar too as we dont have to pay for an amplifier.

First off a tip to you:
You need more than that to get paid for a post. Most people say about at least four sentences.
I like both electric and acoustic. I like the acoustic for it's ability to play detail. I like the electric for the ability to make musical "noise". LOL

I like playing electric guitar more. But I haven't used an acoustic since I was younger. I have played my aunt's a couple of times though. I just like electrics better because of the sharpness of the sound. The bass feedback is awesome too, way better than acoustic.

Well, both of them are suitable for different purposes. For example, take Bush's song Glycerine. Essentially, throughout the entire song, it's just a guitar, with some strings added later on. You'd think that an acoustic guitar would be far more suitable, but I think the distorted electric guitar plays a neat effect.
If I was to pick between them, though (pun intended) I'd probably have to go with acoustic guitar, probably because it works better as a solo instrument better than the electric. Now, I'm not talking about guitar riff solos like in rock songs, I'm talking about purely solo - just guitar. Listen to certain classical guitar pieces, and you'll know what I mean. Just like a string instrument, or the piano, the classical guitar is a very versatile instrument by comparison to the electric guitar.
Not that I'm saying the electric guitar is bad, or worse, mind you.
