Shia LaBeouf messes up again...

Early this morning, Shia LaBeouf (Transformers, Disturbia) was injured in a car accident that he himself caused while driving intoxicated. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble. He was arrested several months ago in Chicago for refusing to leave a Walgreens while clearly intoxicated, and has had a few other legal difficulties. This is from a young man who said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he didn't want to be one of those screw up celebrities who's in the news for their shenanigans more than they are for their work! I had such high hopes for him - he is a very talented actor and a rising star!
Do you think this is just a bit of youthful mistakes on his part, or do you think maybe this a trend and it will only be downhill from here?

I just read about this a few minutes ago. And I can honestly say that I'm not surprised. Young Hollywood is really questionable because of the antics that we hear about. He is talented and I used to watch the TV show he was on. He was very popular back in the early 2000s. I guess no one is safe in Hollywood, lol.

I agree, Young Hollywood is definitely questionable - money and fame are no reason to act like an irresponsible fool!
I used to watch his show occassionally as well - but where he really impressed me was a movie he did called Tru Confessions, which ran on the Disney Channel. I figured then he had a bright future...and he still should, if he can get his act together before he becomes just another celeb train wreck.

I remember Tru Confessions. The one where he was mentally disabled. Very good film. He definitely is talented and that's why it's so sad to hear stories like this.

maybe he thought he was riding at a camaro that will transform to bumble bee. har har har. well stars a re really like that. they cahnge in a blink of an eye. just look at the news about christian bale and the cyrus kid. stars come up and gain popularity bit then messes up their own name. what else is new? that news will be going to be heared again but in a different person.
