Gonna Be a Star!

Design Star finals are on HGTV right now. I haven't watched every episode, but I've seen a few of them. Right now it's down to Jennifer and Matt and their final challenge is to design a kitchen, dining room and living room for two families that lost everything in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina three years ago.
Regardless of who wins tonight, I know they're both going to do a good job with their designs and give something to two wonderfully deserving families.
I'm going to wait until the show ends tonight and then vote online for who I think is most deserving. I've liked Matt during the episodes I've already seen, but Jennifer was a close second. I'm glad it's going to be one of them.

Oh this is going to be so neat. They just brought a couple of the earlier contestants in too.
Sears is giving them all the appliances and um, I forget who, but someone is giving them the flooring for the kitchen. Home Depot maybe?

I got involved in watching this last Sunday as part of my MyPoints account to earn a lot of points and actually liked the show. I forgot the finals were today as I met a myLot friend and have been busy since then doing myLotting. I really wanted to watch it too. Oh well I am sort of busy for awhile. I will watch the reruns in a few weeks to see the finals. Or you can fill us in here.

We can all vote online or via cell phone with a text msg, and the winner will be revealed next week. The judges don't get to pick the final winner, we do!
I still think Matt is gonna win. I'm at the site now and trying to vote, and it won't let me. I'm sure it's overloaded right now.

I have not seen any of these. We do not have cable channels. I wish we did, but we cannot afford them right now. I really like to watch shows like this and miss having cable television. We jst have basic, local television channels right now and rent Netflix movies. I hope to get cable again some day though.

I don't watch a whole lot of television either. I just watch certain shows and that is about it. the Netflix movies is mainly for my husband. A show or a movie has to be really good before I will watch all of it.

I don't watch all that much TV, but I do like some things. I don't spend anything else on myself so my cable internet and TV is the only expense every month.
I have NetFlix too, but have put my account on hold for now. It is a great program.
