Well Jill, here is your own interest group now. Welcome to the egotistical side of myLot. 
J/K. I had to start this group as Jill never knew we could start our own categories etc in our interests. We have knwon each other on myLot for a year or so. And Sunday we finally met. My daughter, also a myLot member, met her as well. My wife came along as did Jills sister. We had a great dinner/lunch. We chatted for a few hours as well. A great time had by all today. Thank you Jill for the gifts as well. What a sweet thought and great gift that fits me to a tee. Discussion abiout that soon to come. Have you gotten any gifts from an online friend at all?

I think it is cool that you guys met. I have never met anyone I have met on myLot or gotten any gifts from them, but there are several people that I have met on line that I have also me in person. I have gotten quite a few little gifts from some of them.

I got a basket full of Clean Linen scented Yankee candles in the mail once. It was a giant candle and 4 votive candles and 2 votive holders from a friend in Ohio. I got a hand poured gel candle from someone else in Indiana. I had a lady from the other side of Missouri bad me a braclet with beads that she made herself. I got a cute picture frame with an angel on it from a friend in Tennessee. The same friend from Tennessee also sent my son about $100 worth of brand new clothes a few summers ago. He had his summer wardrobe all set after that one.

Yes I have, I recieved a gift of flower seeds from a friends garden. She also sent me a check for my new granddaughter. This special ladies name is Marcie, I am sure you will know who I am talking about. Your day sounds so nice, I am happy for all of you.

hi Grandpa Bob nope I have not gotten any gifts as such from mylot friends but I just spent a lot of time thanking a barrell
of mylot friends for best responses.wow, it always gives me a little charge when so many give me best response. I mean I am just another mylotter, but on the elderly side. I am nobody
special you know.I am glad that you and your and Jill had such a great time. cheers to all of you. hatley

I also get hyped getting BRs here. I seldom thank them though other than in a discussion thanking all members/friends. Too many is why. You are very special in a lot of myLotters eyes. Don't you ever forget that. Thanks bunches as well friend.

Happy you got to meet a friend finally!
I've gotten a package from Nova and a card from P1ke who are new friends..alot i've known before i was here and have numerous gifts from them too!

Thanks. It was a great and fun filled chatty time by us all.
I've a coffee mug and one on order for a friend here as gifts as well.
I've also one that wants some of my red rasberry bushes but seems she
is having oputer problems so I can't get ahold of her now.
So what were these gifts then if I may be so nosey to ask? Hee hee!

Never did unless one of my friends goes to my church and I do not know if she is a member of mylot or not. Certainly she did not join under my referrel link and since I live in a big city, there are so many here that I do not know. I suppose with others it is safe to have an online friend know you in person, but with me it is not. Not that I would harm them, heavens forbid, but I do have a bit of a past.

That is great that you all got to meet one another. I am also happy that everything went well for all of you too. I think it is neat that you started and interest group for you all too. I hope you don't mind me replying to it right now. That was very sweet of your Mylot friend to give you some gifts. I wish all people could be that kind in the world these days.

One of my friends won a guitar once and sent it to me. Another was culling his collection and sent me a beautiful little backpacker electric guitar. These friends are very dear to me, I've known them (but never met them) for ten years! I really treasure these two guitars and the love that went into the gifts.

I am so glad you had such a great time meeting Jill from mylot. I am glad that the gift she got you fits like a tee.
I am assuming it was a play on words. heehee.
I have not gotten a gift from a mylottian except a phone call which is wonderful to me.
I have sent a gift to a friend when she was having some problems. I wanted her to know she was loved and appreciated.

It's so wonderful you got to meet a friend from MyLot GB.
I have some friends here that i wish i could meet, but our locations hinders that process.
So for now we carry on our friendship through e-mails, which is nice.
I've not gotten a gift from any online friends,but i value the gift of their friendship.
