Today, PGMA will deliver her State of the Nation Address (SONA). And the Filipinos are waiting for some miracles. Miracles from Heaven. And people wants to hear what more disappointments will she say today.
We are experiencing something more than just a crisis. Nearly all of us are having a hard time coping with the soaring prices. There are no more solutions to these problems, the problems are just getting worse. She should address the issue of decreasing the prices of gasoline. Gasoline prices have increased, rice prices have increased. These days, people are walking to work, myself included.
This is what a Cebuano cashier replied when asked by a media-man on "What do people want to hear in today's Sona?"
Will you hear what PGMA will say in her Sona? Do you want something to hear from her? Can we expect something new?

There are only two words that I would like and most of the Filipinos to hear from her, "I RESIGN". We Filipinos would like to hear the truth about our economic situation, problems that we have faced for the past year not just a boring report of what she will envision for the next year and the progress report of last year which is not really true. Let's just wait and see.
Keep posting. HUGZ!

i do think that almost all those who seated in the president's seat were wanted to get a resignation by the people.
i hope you won't get angry with me. i just wanna say my part, too. what i just wanna say is that, whoever will sit in that seat, will still be forced to go down by the people. sometimes, i see that filipinos are too hard to please... they always look for miracles to happen and that they wanted to fix things in a second. truth is, even our simple problems with our family, friends or even problems with love... we can't even fix at once. but we still want someone to fix the philippines' problem in one blink.
the goverment's not perfect and so are we. not even the rich countries are perfect. there will always be problems and everyone should atleast do their part instead of complaining everything about the situation.
have a good day...

we know there are some politicians that are really for the poor, for the people. but unless they get out of PGMA's UMBRELLA, nothing will happen to them and to the people.

Well I really have lose interest hearing SONA already. As the SONA is just a way to propagandized what the government is doing and put on some flowery and manipulative words to make their images good in the eyes of the public. I am fed up with all those things that are making things looks good despite the things that you are experiencing about.

I think PGMA will just boast again, projects, action miraculously done by her administration and nothing but boastfulness and untruhful SONA. I do wan't to hear it nor some other citizen.. We are under crisis, so if The president will address that prices will go low in the coming days, I think I should give a little time to hear it..
happy posting!!

Actually I really don't want to hear any single words from PGMA. I don't want to know what those damn things she made for the improvement of our country we know the fact that PGMA administration is the weakess and unpopular president ever in our generation. She's our president who will lead the country to soak up us in crisis and the question is did madam president made an improvements for this such thing. I don't think so. I wonder if she can still sleep well at night.

The thing is, would our president do that? I doubt it. Look how much she is earning from her job, oh i mean, how much she is TAKING out of her job. And if you are hoping that she might resign, no she won't. I even doubt if there would have an election on 2010. What if she tries to push the parliament government? Then remain seated in an executive office for a long time? hehe.. just my two cents..

I guess most of the the comments here speaks on what is on my mind. Just one thing, Okay. Okay. Let's just say that this government had done so many things to this country but the question is, how many Filipinos have benefited from it? For the government, don't show us complicated & well structured answers I guess it's just a simple question answerable by a simple yet crucial answer.

Well, sad to say I didn't hear what she was saying in her SONA yesterday because I am at my work and there is no television in our office... So, I don't have any idea on what she was saying in her SONA yesterday! But I hope that she was saying more about the problems that we are facing right now.. And not giving so much promises that she never keep it.. Well, for how many times she was having her SONA I don't think that we can still expect something new from her because until now she didn't do something good for her country and to the Filipino people.. I just hope that everything will be better now..

Ho Neil,
I 'm sorry to say that gasoline prices are a problem every today yes all food prices are sky high and most people are useing bikes to work and foot, train fares are far too high and don't trust the goverment or any other goverment so prepare for the worst so we just have to carry on the best we can.

Well I'm watching it now via webcast and I'm getting ready to listen again to here sugarcoated promises and realities in the country. Also the fashion show is also beginning now. Imagine those officials who received a lot of funds form our money wearing all those fancy and expensive clothes while a lot of their constituents are in dire poverty. Well she's talking about economic growth etc. but where is the growth she's talking about? Maybe it's the growth of her "pocket" economy (her pockets and bank accounts that's it) As I am writing this she is now blaming the worldwide financial crisis in our current problems. Well our current problems are only because of her and other corrupt officials. Well there's more to come form her mind-numbing almost opiate like SONA.

Hi, first of all, I'll answer the question with a little twist, what I would not like to hear from the SONA is all the lies that the president will say. I do hope that she'll not talk about the economy rising and prices getting low because we are not blind and stupid people. What I would like to hear from the SONA is her, wanting to get out of the palace and give the seat of power to some other person who would be willing to help out the country. But it seems impossible, but hey, I know it will come
