late last night, i watched the news that featured the last 7 years SONA (State Of the Nation Address/es) of our President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. with the situation that is happening right now, (the weekly oil price hike, a higher cost standard of living, fare price hike, additional taxes on commodities and so and so forth), i as one who represents the public do not feel any security nor assurance that living here in the Philippines will eventually do well. i don't feel any hope that this country will be back to its normal standards. politicians aren't good leaders but are gross faultfinders. you, as a Filipino, how do you react with another SONA?

what do you expect from this? NOTHING but the same old story.... what a nuisance in the part of the poor... will she just stop it and take the amount of this preparation and just give it to us... besides, its our money that is spent in this annual event right? so stop this non-sense talking and she must must just focus on her work... remember, action speaks louder than words...

i agree, just imagine how much it costs the Philippines to beautify and prepare the place of which attendees do not take into account of diverting the funds in helping the poor and victims of calamities instead. the President does not need the SONA to brag and tell the public this blahhh blahhh blahhhh so and so. It will be more cost effective if she announces on TV that from the supposedly funds of SONA, she will instead or rather divert its funds on increasing salary wages to compensate in relation to the weekly oil price hike. what do you think?
