You can start by posting discussions that you like to discuss with the people from the rest of the world. At the same time, you can responds to other peoples' discussion that you prefer.

start responding to the discussions. after adding the response and the tags, you will be asked whether to add that thing under interest or not. thus you can add the items of your interest even while you are discussiong on mylot. you need not spend time separately on them. finally welcome to mylot and have fun. also add friends on mylot. they will respond to your discussions.
