What is the worst thing that has happened to you while in the air? I am usually a pretty OK flier but one time made me a worried. The hostess freaked out!! Whilst landing, we were going through some crazy turbulence. She was on her little Mic letting everyone know the temperature outside & to put our seat-belts on. When suddenly the plane was not stable and she must have lost her balance. She cried 'sh*t' over the Mic and quickly sat down forgetting about her speech and all the passengers that could not see her, but could hear her. For a couple of minutes the rest of the plane seemed panicked!! All they knew was the hostess lady was scared, swearing, and now not finishing her little landing speech! To make matters worse, nobody came over the speaker to let us know all was well!! The fear of the unknown had crept in! But I guess that's not so bad, at least the pilot was cool & calm!

I am sorry that you had such a scary flight. I know that air hostesses are meant to keep calm and smile no matter what happens during the flight. If the plane comes down and the passengers have to get off with life jackets on and then make their way into the sea the hostesses to be in charge. They have to look confident and make the passengers feel as safe as possible. I think that swearing is terrible and would not have made any of the passengers feel happy. It might have made some of them scared. Yes, at least the pilot was calm and in control. The worst flight I have been on was very bumpy from London to Tunis and then I was got severe ear pain. Next the plane flew on to Sfax and landing there I was sick. I dropped my landing form that I should have given to immigration. So my worst flight was no where near as bad of yours because the hostesses stayed calm. Though getting on one flight the hostess handed every passenger. It had a picture and story of concord crashing. So that was the worst incident I have heard about. Good luck with future flights.
