How to hold a special wedding ceremony?

My boyfried and I got the marriage certificate on 14th Feb this year,the year of 2008.We love each other very much,and we want to hold a special wedding ceremony next year.My friends,could you please share your ideas?Thank you!P.S. We are Chinese.

Congratulations! 
I don't know much about Chinese weddings but could suggest you to have a themed wedding. Do get a cake and lots of your favorite flowers to decorate the hall. You may skip the cake if you want but please use lots of flowers. And crystal wall pieces if you can find them. The make weddings look like fairy tales. :)
