One of my friends on mylot gave in response to my previous discussion that star rating doesnot affect earnings. I have a very low rating inspite of doing good responses (more than 4 lines of quality content) to the discussions. I wanted to take a second opinion on that though. what do you think? does it affect our earnings at all?

I am still not very clear about this star rating. Yet to get a star and at least it looks good beside one's name. I guess it must be linked with the earnings in some way. Does this reputation thats showing when you mouse over your star gives an idea of what quality of responses you have posted?

i know i have already said this a dozen times, but NO ONE at mylot other than the admins actually knows how mylot pays and how much it pays for each activity.
your reputation probably doesn't matter, but dont ignore it altogether. a very low reputation might lead to an investigation against you, because it usually means that the user is spamming

it is because not too many users have marked your responses positive. check it every 24 hours. it is sure to go up if u reply positively.
hover your pointer over it and you will get the exact stats

I think it affects.Think about why they are provided. If it has no use, why this rating changes.I believe it's like a tool for our earning. All of us believe that it depends on our quality of discussions and rating given by users.stick on to mylot guidelines
